Last holiday season, with the launch of Artfully exactly a year ago, I had so much fun counting down my favorite looks for Timeless Holiday Style. So, this holiday season I’m sharing inspiration for three completely new and unique looks to take you through the holiday season in style.

This season go for the gold, silver and bronze, with metallic dresses and separates in lamé and Lurex, for strikingly chic and high-octane glamour. Rachel Zoe, who is often inspired by such 70s-era vibes, offers several floor-grazing and gleaming gowns. And L’Agence partnered with Intermix to make one of my favorites a standout dress in gold lamé. Look to Free People, And Other Stories and Reformation for less expensive options all shoppable from the carousel above.

Last year I showed you how to find inspiration in the details of the season by letting pretty packages inspire you. This year take that same concept and turn it up a notch with an overall head-to-toe-approach. Let the decorations of this season, like sequins, bows and shine, be your guide right down to the wrapping paper. And, wrap yourself in lamé, metallic satin and Lurex, with its shiny threads, for a liquid metal effect that’s sleek and chic. This Sabina Musayev dress is a dream with bow details that mimic pretty packages just perfect for the holidays. I first discovered the Israeli designer shopping in a Santa Monica boutique and bought 3 different summer dresses. I was so happy to find her looks also sold online at Revolve and ASOS. The Veronica Beard heels with leather wrap detail in gold too were the perfect match for the dress.

I find such special details can make you feel so special wearing them. I’ve said it before but it bears repeating that the magic of the holiday season is all about giving and showering each other with love, so why not direct some of that love toward making yourself feel extra special? Wear what makes your feel pretty head-to-toe, whether it’s cozy slippers, a pair of jeans and a flannel, or, a floor-length gown, but try adding some of the metallic details to add a little something special. These are two ideals at the core of the Artfully brand: be creative and show yourself some love. ❤️  It’s important to remember that fashion is about dressing for none other than yourself, so wear what makes you feel good. Remember to check back on Artfully this week for all 3 of my holiday looks plus a few bonuses and visit me on Instagram @theartfulchristina for some sneak peeks and behind-the-scenes of my holiday shoot. It’s going to be one fashionable holiday season!
